TEAM TALK v WOLVES, 8/3/14

7 March 2014

Boss ready for latest battle...

IT'S A game that we are looking forward to. To play here in front of a sell-out crowd and what will be a great atmosphere is something that we face with real relish.

Everyone knows that Wolves have got good players; Kenny Jackett has done an excellent job there and the team is where everyone expected them to be.

That said, we're confident in our own ability. We went to Molineux earlier in the season and beat them by working hard and playing some good football.

They are on a great run at the moment, but we have a habit of ending runs and have proven what we are capable of on numerous occasions this season.

We know that we will have to be at our best, but we are well-prepared and ready for it.

Recent games have seen decisions go against us. I have been pleased with our performance levels, we just need the results to go along with them.

We have to capitalise when we have the momentum and do the right things. This is a real opportunity for us and if we handle the pressure and keep that belief then I have every faith that we can get the result that we desire.

We're still very much up there in the mix and hopefully we can keep adding to our points tally.

It's a boost to have the experience of Andy Taylor available to us again. He came through 45 minutes for the reserves on Wednesday with no adverse reaction, so it leaves me with a decision to make. What I do know is that whether I decide to play Andy or Mal Benning at left-back, we will have a good player in there.

Mal is making good progress and I was pleased to see him score his first goal for the club in our last game. He's improving all the time and is an honest lad who analyses his game thoroughly. and has a great attitude.

Our supporters can certainly play their part in driving the players forward on Saturday. Hopefully you will all be wearing red and give the lads the backing that they deserve.
