MILAN Lalkovic found the net in our first-ever visit to New York Stadium as we were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw.
“I thought it was going to be the winning goal,” said the Chelsea loanee. “We were unlucky with the goal that we conceded as it took a deflection and went in off the crossbar
“It hurts but that’s the way it goes in football sometimes.
“I was pleased with my finish; it was a good move in the build-up and I was pleased to see it go in.
“We put in a good team performance. It was not an easy game for us as they play to their strengths and it’s a style that works for them.
“We worked hard and we’ll take that into the next game. Every game is a big one now and we look forward to taking on Leyton Orient. We will keep going to get ourselves back into winning ways.”
