Man of the Match display from Brandy...

FEBIAN Brandy put in another lively display in our 1-1 home draw with Crewe Alexandra which earned him the Man of the Match prize.

“No disrespect to Crewe, but we expected to get all three points,” he said. “We worked hard to get something out of the game in the end.

“It was a relief to see that own goal go in near the end. It was that bit of luck that we needed because we pushed them without really testing their goalkeeper enough.

“To be fair they came here and restricted us because they didn’t want to leave themselves too open. It’s understandable considering their position, but it made life tough for us.

“We perked up after we fell a goal behind. It shouldn’t be like that, but we worked hard to get back into it and the main thing was that we didn’t lose.

“There is still plenty of confidence that we can get into the top six and hopefully we will be rewarded with three points on Saturday in what is another tough game against a side who have done well this season and maintained the high standards that they have set themselves.”
