Westcarr over the moon as Saddlers win at Bradford...

FRONT-man, Craig Westcarr, found himself back on the scoresheet as his brace gave us three deserved points at Bradford City.

“It was a great night,” he beamed. “It was brilliant to get the win and I was lucky enough to get my name on the scoresheet a couple of times, which was nice.

“The last couple of games prior to this have been positive where we’ve looked more like ourselves and we have taken things on from there with this win.

“As a striker you need chances and I got them today. For the first goal it was a great ball in from Andy Taylor; I know he can do that so I anticipated the cross and it allowed me to get ahead of my marker.

“The second goal may have taken a slight deflection on its way in, but it’s about time one of them went for us.

“This is a good chance for us to build some momentum now. There are 21 points still to play for and with us being four games unbeaten, it is a good time to put this kind of run together.

“Even though we’ve not been winning matches, we’ve kept on trying to do the right things and play the way we know, so hopefully we can continue our run into the next game, which we are looking forward to.

“The important thing is to keep winning and see where it takes us.”
