First-team squad back at Essington...
THE SADDLERS’ first-team squad returned for the first day of pre-season training today.
New recruits Tom Bradshaw, James O’Connor and Craig MacGillivray joined up with their team-mates at Essington alongside new first-year professionals Liam Kinsella and Amadou Bakayoko.
Head Therapist, Jon Whitney, put the squad through their paces on a glorious day at Essington.
“It was good to be back,” explained manager, Dean Smith, pictured with his trio of new signings to date. “We had a team meeting first thing and then the rest of the day has been all about fitness and conditioning work with Jon.
“It’s the start of the process as we work towards the 9th August and beyond.”
