Saddlers' boss on draw with Bees...
SADDLERS' boss, Dean Smith, has reflected upon our 1-1 home draw with in-form Brentford."We were terrific today," he said. "It was a really good performance; we created chances, were good on the ball and were defensively strong.
"It was a great advert for League One football.
"We've always felt that we are more than a match for anyone at this level and we will take a lot of belief from this display.
"Richard O'Donnell wasn't overly worked and that's credit to our defence. Both teams went for it with attacking line-ups and, as I say, it was an entertaining game.
"I was pleased with the reaction of the players to going a goal down. They responded in the right way and our goal was well-worked.
"We were the better side in the second half against a side who went into the game on a fantastic run."
James Chambers was taken off as a precaution with a tight hamstring, whilst Andy Taylor jarred his knee.
