Loan man flying...

MILAN Lalkovic put in another lively display as The Saddlers drew 1-1 with high-flying Brentford at the weekend.

The on-loan Chelsea man was a constant threat throughout the game and weighed in with an assist for Craig Westcarr's equaliser right on the stroke of half-time.

"I am disappointed that we didn't win," he admitted. "Apart from the opening ten or 15 minutes, I felt that we played really well.

"It was a good game played at a good tempo; we created more chances than they did and looked the better side overall.

"We're doing well and are now five matches unbeaten, although in my view we should have got more points out of these last three games.

"We are taking things step-by-step and working hard to make sure that we continue our progression. There is another important game coming up on Saturday and now we concentrate on that.

"For me it is important that I keep doing well to help the team. I feel very good and I am happy with my form right now.

"I get a lot of help and support from the staff and experienced players here. If there is something that I need to improve upon, they will tell me and help me achieve it."
