BELIEVE it or not, it’s 30 years since our thrilling run to the semi-final of the League Cup, which included beating Arsenal at Highbury and drawing with an all-conquering Liverpool at Anfield.It was an epic Cup run that is still talked about today and to mark the Anniversary, the Walsall Football Supporters Trust and Saddlers Club have joined forced to organise a celebration event.
It will take place in The Saddlers Club on Wednesday, February 19th and will include footage from the matches being shown on the big screen, memorabilia and the appearance of some of the players involved who will take part in a Q&A session.
The night will start at 7.30pm, with the doors open from 7.00pm. Tickets are £7.50 each, to include pie, chips and peas, and must be purchased in advance via The Trust or Saddlers Club.
It promises to be a night of real Walsall FC nostalgia...
