Saddlers complete capture of front-man...

THE SADDLERS have completed the signing of powerful front-man, Mathieu Manset.

The 25 year-old impressed during a couple of pre-season outings earlier this summer.

Born in France, he began his career in his homeland with Le Havre before arriving on these shores in the summer of 2009 when he joined Hereford United.

Establishing himself for The Bulls, his prowess in front of goal soon altered the attention of clubs at a higher level and in January 2011, he completed a move to Reading for an undisclosed fee.

During his time with The Royals, he was loaned out to Chinese outfit, Shanghai Shenhua before joining Swiss club, Sion, on a permanent deal at the start of the 2012/13 campaign.

He returned to the English game with spells at Carlisle United and Coventry City before moving to Royal Antwerp at the turn of this year.

Manset moves to Banks’s Stadium following an impressive trial spell during the summer where he displayed his strength and ability.
