THE SADDLERS' youth team played out a goalless draw at Tranmere Rovers."On a heavy pitch, we had control of the game from early on," said Academy Manager, Neil Woods. "We created one or two chances during the opening period, but not enough for my liking.
"Things continued in much the same vein after the break as we had some good build-up play only to find our hosts difficult to break down.
"To their credit, Tranmere were well-organised and sat deep to make life tough for us.
"Overall we didn't create enough chances; I have no complaints about our application or some of the football that we played, we just lacked the ability to break them down."
