TEAM TALK v LEYTON ORIENT, 28/9/13

26 September 2013

Boss prepares for visit to the League leaders...

LEYTON Orient have made a fantastic start to the season, but someone has to stop them, so why not us?

I watched them at Brentford on Monday evening and I felt that Brentford were marginally the better side up until they scored. To win eight out of eight at any level is a real achievement. It's not come as a massive surprise to me because they ended last season strongly and have continued that momentum.

In David Mooney and Kevin Lisbie they have two players in a rich vein of form and we have to make sure that we are tight against them.

I spent ten years at the club so I know the way that they work; they have a small squad, but it is full of quality and we are looking forward to the challenge that they will present to us.

As I say, eventually they will be stopped and hopefully it can be us.

We've done well in our last three games, which have all been tough tests. We go there with momentum and confidence; I've got a group of players here who are professional and will prepare in the right way for this game.
