BUTLER READY TO BOUNCE BACK

2 September 2013

Skipper relishing Tuesday's derby with Wolves...

SKIPPER, Andy Butler, will be leading by example as we look to bounce back from Saturday's home defeat at the hands of Preston North End in the right way when we travel to Wolves in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy on Tuesday evening (kick-off 7.45pm).

"It was a disappointing performance," he admitted. "We know that we came nowhere near reaching the required standards and it is something that we have assessed today.

"We felt a bit flat and it's up to us as individuals to get things going. We need to start games better and then push on from there.

"As a team we have to keep doing the right things and not get sloppy; we know what we're capable of and we're ready to move on to Tuesday's game.

"It's a big game only because it's the next one. We'll approach it in the same way as any other, but we're certainly looking forward to getting out there.

"It's a local derby and hopefully we'll do the business and get through to the next round."
