BRING ON WOLVES

Saddlers raring to go...

THE SADDLERS are fully fit and raring to go as we begin our Johnstone’s Paint Trophy quest at Wolves this evening (kick-off 7.45pm).

Manager, Dean Smith, is looking for an instant response from his players following Saturday’s home defeat at the hands of Preston North End.

“It’s a big game for us because it’s our next one and the chance for us to bounce back from Saturday,” he said. “We know that our last performance was poor and fell well below the standards that we have set ourselves, but we have analysed it as a group and now we move on.

“Tonight’s game is going to be a tough one; Wolves are one of the favourites to win League One, so, naturally, that makes them one of the favourites for this competition.

“That said, it’s a local derby and we’re sure to have a large and vocal backing. It’s a game that we face with relish and we are looking forward to getting out there and hopefully making progress in this competition.”

Advance tickets are on sale from the Banks’s Stadium Ticket Office until midday. It will be possible to purchase on the night from Molineux, however, please note that admission will go up to £13 (adults) and £7 (concessions).
