ALAN Buckley’s recently-published autobiography, ‘Pass and Move – My Story’ has been warmly received by Saddlers’ supporters.There are some great stories from his long and colourful career in the game, which included over 200 goals for Walsall and cutting his managerial teeth at Fellows Park before going on to become one of only a select band of people to manage over 1,000 League games for various clubs.
It’s a must-read for Saddlers’ supporters everywhere and it is sure to feature on the Christmas Lists of many of our fans.

Copies of the book are on sale from The Programme Shop here at Banks’s Stadium for £18 each.
There will be an Evening with Alan Buckley in The Saddlers Club on Wednesday, December 11th. Tickets will be £10 each and include a pie, mash, peas and gravy meal. It will be an opportunity to buy the book and listen to some great stories.
Profits from the night, which will commence at 7.30pm, will go to Leukemia and Lymphonia Research, Alan’s chosen charity.
