WESTCARR READY FOR SWINDON TEST

22 October 2013

Front-man hungry for more goals...

FRONT-man, Craig Westcarr, weighed in with his sixth goal of the season in Saturday's victory over Stevenage and is looking to add to that tonight as we travel to Swindon Town (kick-off 7.45pm).

"It was nice to get back into winning ways at home," he admitted. "We kept a good level of performance and in the end, we should have won by a bigger margin.

"We've always believed in ourselves; we played some nice football at the weekend and I was pleased to get my name onto the scoresheet.

"If we continue to create the chances, the results will follow. There's an excellent team spirit here and I am enjoying my role up front. It's my position, but I'll also play out wide if I have to.

"As a group we go into every game with confidence and it has all the ingredients to be a good game down at Swindon this evening.

"It will be a footballing encounter. We know it will be a difficult challenge, but it is one that we are looking forward to and hopefully we will get the right result in the end.

"Our last visit there ebbed and flowed and a draw was probably a fair result on that occasion. Hopefully we can go one better this time around."
