MIDFIELD man, Sam Mantom put in another hard-working display in the engine room of the side in our 1-1 draw at Colchester.
“We dominated the whole game,” he said. “We peppered their goal whilst they only had one real effort at ours.
“We definitely deserved something here; we out-played them and out-worked them. It shows that what we are doing in training every day is working for us.
“We know that if we keep the ball on the ground, we can play through teams and create chances. There was a lot of relief when that equaliser went in. It was a great strike from Tayls.
“I was standing over the ball with him and wanted to blast it, but he felt that he had a better angle to curl it and he did really well.
“I’m happy to be part of things here; our play suits my style and to be playing week in, week out is just what I want.”
