Heath extends Leamington stay...
FIRST-year professional, Jake Heath, has had his one-month loan deal at Leamington extended by a further month following some impressive displays."The standard of football is good, better than I initially thought it would be," admitted the youth team product. "It's very competitive and you don't get too much time on the ball, but I am enjoying it and feel that I have done well so far.
"It's nice to play regularly and get good feedback from the coaching staff here.
"Hopefully now my deal has been extended I can continue to improve. I feel that I've gained much more confidence in myself and knowing that Dean Smith and his staff are keeping a close eye on my progress only acts to inspire me even more.
"It makes me want to impress and really make an impact by showing what I am capable of.
"Leamington have a nice set-up; the pitch is good and the people at the club have really helped me to settle in. I just want to continue to do my best for them and possibly weigh in with a goal or two along the way."
Heath is a midfield man who likes to get forward at every opportunity.
Meanwhile, fellow first-year professional, Danny Griffiths has returned to Banks's Stadium following a loan switch to Chasetown.
