Bring your new toys for our Annual Christmas collection...
THE WAY that our fixtures have fallen means that our Annual Christmas Toy and Food Collection will take place at Saturday’s home game against Port Vale. The collection is being organised by the Walsall Football Supporters Trust and, as always, they are looking for NEW toys that The Saddlers’ players can take to the Children’s Ward of the Manor Hospital on their annual visit in December.
Any surplus toys will then be distributed amongst the most deserving cases locally.
They will also be supporting the Black County Food Bank, which is based as the Church at Junction 10. You can also bring non-perishable food – for example, tins and dried packet foods.
Look out for the red gazebo on the main car park from just before 1.00pm until 2.30pm.
You will also be able to purchase tickets from there for the forthcoming Evening with Alan Buckley that takes place in The Saddlers Club on Wednesday, December 11th.
Tickets are priced at £10, which includes pie, mash, peas and gravy and an evening in the company of one of our favourite sons.
After discussions with The Saddlers Club, it has been agreed that any profit from the ticket sales will be passed on to Alan to donate to LUKEMIA AND TYMPHOMA RESEARCH. This event is ticket only.
