Boss on latest game...
IT WILL be a different kind of test to the one that we faced on Monday. They have not had the best of starts this season, but they have a good manager and some good players in their squad who will see this as an opportunity to get a victory.By the same token, we will be looking to take our momentum from recent games into this one. We've scored five goals and conceded none in our last two matches and our players will take plenty of belief from that.
We played so well in front of a wider audience against Peterborough United and have received a lot of compliments since, but we know that there is still plenty of work to be done.
There are two tough away games on the spin ahead; we had a couple of tough battles against Crawley last season and they will be looking to bring us back down to earth.
In the kind of form that we are in, we're looking forward to every game. We're competing against teams with bigger budgets really well and have to make sure that we keep doing that and pressing on.
The players here want to keep learning and developing. They know where we're at and where they've got to get to.
It's not all about reputations in this League. It's about 11v11 and things are going well for us at the moment, not only in the first-team but at all levels throughout the club.
As a group we are determined to keep that going.
