Boss on our FA Cup of cheer...

SADDLERS' boss, Dean Smith, has reflected upon our convincing 3-0 victory over Shrewsbury Town.

"From start to finish it was an excellent performance," he beamed. "We thoroughly deserved the 3-0 scoreline and in the end it could have been more.

"Everyone made a contribution to what was a very good team display.

"Some of our movement was excellent and we caused them plenty of problems. When we're on song like that it is hard to play against us.

"As a complete 90-minute performance, it was up there with the best this season. I am very satisfied with the way things are going and now we will take this into our next game against Peterborough.

"After the second goal, it allowed us to be more brave on the ball and I was also pleased to see the defence do their job by keeping a clean sheet and looking solid.

"This will boost our confidence and spirit and now we look forward to seeing what the second round draw brings."

That second round draw will take place on ITV on Sunday afternoon. The Saddlers will be ball number two. For details, see
