SKIPPER ON DONS DEFEAT

4 November 2013

Butler reflects on MK Dons set-back...

SKIPPER, Andy Butler, was disappointed that key decisions went against us as we lost 1-0 at MK Dons.

“I thought we were the better side overall,” he said. “They had one shot on target all afternoon.

“We've  watched the replays back and it wasn’t a foul for the free-kick which led to their goal and then I’ve got on the end of a long ball forward from Richard O’Donnell and their lad has pulled my arm so hard that he’s fallen over and was given the free-kick as the ball goes into the net.

“There’s little we can do about those decisions, we can only control the controlables.

“We were unlucky not to come away with a point, we’ve played some decent football and created a few chances.

“We’ve now got two home games coming up and a chance to turn our attention to the FA Cup on Saturday.”
