Good turn-out of former players...

THE WALSALL FC All Stars helped to raise vital funds for Midlands Air Ambulance and other local good causes on Saturday as we took on the West Bromwich Albion All Stars.

In front of a crowd of around 500, Darren Wrack gave The Saddlers a first half lead only for Albion to hit back with four second half goals.

There was a good turn-out of former stars with the likes of Wayne Evans, Chris Marsh, Wayne Thomas, Darren Wrack, Mark Rees, Tony Millard, Paul Jones, Mark Taylor, Martin O'Connor, Adrian Viveash and Brian Palgrave all turning out for Walsall and Daryl Burgess, Richard Sneekes, Ian Hamilton, Dave Barnett and Tony Capaldi in action for The Baggies in a game that was organised by one of our senior commercial partners, CAT Communications.

After the action had finished there was a raffle and an Elvis Presley tribute show to complete an entertaining afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who attended and played their part...
