Westcarr on windy trip to the north-east...

CRAIG Westcarr believes that the weather was the winner as we brought home a point from Hartlepool United on Saturday.

"The conditions were very difficult," he said. "It was one of those days; it wasn't a pleasant game to watch but in the end it was two points lost.

"Our back four were solid and didn't make any mistakes so on that basis it was good to keep a clean sheet and be able to extend our unbeaten run."

With Will Grigg sidelined, Westcarr played in the strikers' role. "It's a position that I've played in before and enjoy," he added. "The wind didn't allow us to do what we wanted, though, and it was a tough game to play in.

"It's all about us and what we do. If was get our own house in order than we can be confident about what the run-in holds in store for us.

"We've got momentum behind us and now we move on to Friday's trip to Yeovil."
