GRIGG OUT OF NORTHERN IRELAND SQUAD

21 March 2013

In-form front-man laid low with hamstring problem...

IN-FORM front-man, Will Grigg, has pulled out of the Northern Ireland squad having been laid low by a hamstring injury that he pickled up in the closing stages of our last game.

"Will was feeling his hamstring earlier in the week and had a scan whilst he was with Northern Ireland," said boss, Dean Smith. "It looks like being a Grade 1, which is not too bad, but he has returned to us to have a further scan and treatment.

"He'll miss the Hartlepool game anyway, but we are hopeful of having him back in action during the Easter period."
