CHAMBERS ENJOYING LIFE

19 March 2013

Full-back reveling in run in the team...

JAMES Chambers is certainly enjoying life at the moment.

The 32 year-old is having his best run in the starting line-up all season having started six of our last seven games.

"For me it's about staying in the team," he said. "My match fitness levels are building all of the time and whilst the last game wasn't my best performance, I am delighted with the way things are going right now.

"There are some big games coming up that we face with relish. With the players that we have here, we have to fancy our chances. It's about putting our authority on games and getting the three points.

"We didn't play as well as we have done against Crawley at the weekend, particularly in the first half where we looked laboured. But with the attacking talent we have here, we always have a chance of turning things around and we battled out a deserved point in the end.

"They've got some good players in their team, but for us it is about finding solutions to the problems that our opponents cause. We struggled at times in the last game, but we deserved something from it for the character that we displayed.

"Looking at the League table, everyone in the top half is still in with a shout of at least making the play-offs. There are plenty of teams involved and it's all about momentum and performance.

"On the whole for the last ten games or so we've had this and as such confidence is high."
