Smith on Good Friday stalemate...

SADDLERS' boss, Dean Smith has reflected upon our goalless draw at Yeovil Town.

"We got into some good areas today," he said. "We created some decent chances early in the second half, which we couldn't take, but it's two clean sheets in a row to take into these next two home games.

"The conditions weren't great but we played well and Sam Johnstone didn't have too many saves to make. I never felt that we were going to lose today; we've got players here who want to get forward and score goals, but we've also looked solid defensively.

"It extends our unbeaten run to 11 games, which is no mean feat in this League. A point away from home is never bad but we have to make it count in these next two home matches.

"We're fighting hard and trying to win games; there is plenty of belief amongst this group and we'll keep going.

"It's ironic that two of League One's leading scorers were on show and it ended goalless!"
