ANOTHER SHUT-OUT FOR SAM

30 March 2013

Young 'keeper makes it two clean sheets in a row...

ON-LOAN goalkeeper, Sam Johnstone made it two clean sheets in a row following his loan switch from Manchester United with a shut-out at Yeovil Town.

"It's nice to keep two clean sheets in my first two games," he said. "But its the whole team that works for that and, to be fair, I've not had too much to do in these last two games.

"The lads and staff are a great bunch here and they have really helped me to settle in quickly. There is plenty of confidence here and a fantastic team spirit which you can see in matches.

"The back four have done well and they get good support from those in front of them, so it is a real team effort here and I am delighted to be part of it.

"It's 11 games unbeaten, which is a great record, and we can take this into our home game with Coventry on Monday and build from there.

"I'm looking forward to making my home debut; it will be a big game with a big crowd, so hopefully I can get another clean sheet under my belt.

"We want to keep pushing; the lads are ready for the run-in and we'll be looking to continue what we're doing and see where it takes us.

"The manager encourages us to express ourselves and he really is a pleasure to work under."
