Latest pre-season friendly this evening...
THE SADDLERS face our latest pre-season challenge this evening as we travel to Burton Albion (kick-off 7.30pm).The Brewers reached the League Two play-offs last term and will be hoping to be up there again this term.
"I'll be looking to get 90 minutes into some of the lads tonight," said manager, Dean Smith. "It'll be another good test for us as we step up our preparations with the start of the new season just a week away.
"We'll be looking at one or two things with the aim of being ready to go on August 3rd.
"I thought that we started the game against Forest very well. We dominated for the opening 20/25 minutes and forced them to change their shape.
"It was another good work-out and a step up for us."
