New 'keeper repaying the faith...
GOALKEEPER, Richard O'Donnell, made a good initial impression on his Saddlers' home debut with some fine saves and a clean sheet in our deserved victory over Leeds United."It was a good game to be involved in," he said. "The lads were excellent from start to finish and I'm pleased that I was able to play my part.
"It's always nice to make saves and keep clean sheets as these are the habits I want to get into when the season gets underway.
"I'm looking forward to playing as many games as I can and moving forward here. The Geffer, Richard O'Kelly and Neil Cutler have been spot on with me and I want to repay that faith and help the team.
"I know that I've got to be at it every day and give 100%. Competition for places is healthy and I see it as a positive thing as it helps to keep us all on our toes.
"We have another good test tonight against another team from the League above. It's a game that we are all looking forward to."
Nottingham Forest are the visitors this evening and admission is £12 (adults) and £6 (concessions) for all areas of the stadium. Please note that kick-off is 7.30pm.
