JAMES McQuilkin secured his switch to The Saddlers earlier this week following a trial spell and now the midfield man is looking forward to establishing himself in the engine room of the side."I'm a technical player who likes to get on the ball and pass and move quickly," said the 24 year-old former Hereford United man. "I feel that my style is well suited to the style the Gaffer is implementing here.
"I already know a few of the lads here and that has made the transition easier; I've enjoyed it so far and look forward to the challenges that lie ahead.
"I want the team to do well and from a personal point of view, I will be looking to play as often as possible. The natural progression is for us to aim for the play-offs and push on from last season.
"From what I have seen so far, there is no reason why we can't achieve that."
