Captain on Trinidad tour so far...
SADDLERS Skipper Andy Butler believes The Saddlers' trip to Trinidad and Tobago will be a real benefit as the team step up preparations for the new season.
The team trained on the training ground at the Dwight Yorke Stadium this morning and will return there this evening for a second session.
"It's been a good start. The humidity has taken some getting used to and we have had to acclimatise quickly. The lads have done great though.
It's a great experience for us all, especially the young ones. The training pitch is good and it's been nice to see the coaches from Central FC watching the session."
The Saddlers take on a Tobago XI on the grounds of the Dwight Yorke Stadium tomorrow evening before moving to Trinidad on Sunday.
