Youngster arrives on loan deal...
THE SADDLERS have completed the loan signing of emerging Irish goalkeeper, Ian McLoughlin from MK Dons.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 International arrived at stadium:mk from Ipswich Town in the summer of 2011 and has made a handful of appearances for The Dons since then.
“He is a goalkeeper that I have spoken to Karl Robinson [MK Dons manager] about on a number of occasions this season,” said manager, Dean Smith. “Having seen Karl Darlow recalled last week, I feel that Ian can come in and provide competition here.
“He is a young lad who is looking forward to getting games under his belt and I feel that he will fit in extremely well here.”
McLoughlin has arrived on an initial one-month deal.
