SADDLERS GRATEFUL TO GOALS BLACK COUNTRY

22 January 2013

Local facility used by The Saddlers to beat winter weather...

THE SADDLERS were extremely grateful to Goals Black Country for stepping in and providing somewhere for the first-team players to train on Tuesday.

The winter weather is causing havoc throughout the country, but just as we were indebted to the great efforts of Walsall FC staff and volunteers to get Saturday’s game on, we are also full of praise for the work of the Goals Black Country team who have battled the conditions to get their pitches playable for both their members and The Saddlers.

Their staff have worked tirelessly to ensure the pitches are safe and playable and this allowed Dean Smith and the lads to undertake a good work-out.

Goals Black Country is home to the biggest League programme in the West Midlands, so if you fancy playing on a snow-free pitch and getting your first game FREE, call 01902-637 700 now!

They are also open for local 11-a-side teams who wish to use the facility for training sessions with discounts available for all FA-affiliated teams.
