Important information for supporters who attend second-string games...
THERE are a number of changes to the reserve team fixture list.Firstly, our Central League Regional home clash with Tranmere Rovers, which was due to take place on Tuesday, January 29th, has been moved back to Thursday, April 25th. The game will take place here at Banks's Stadium with a 2.00pm kick-off.
Our next scheduled home reserve game is on Tuesday, February 5th when we host Bury. Please note that due to the England Under-21 International taking place here at Banks's Stadium on that evening, the game has been switched to the Birmingham County FA Ground in Ray Hall Lane, Great Barr with a 1.00pm kick-off.
Meanwhile the semi-final draw in the Walsall Senior Cup has handed us a home tie with Sutton Coldfield Town. This will take place at Banks's Stadium on Tuesday, February 19th with a 7.30pm kick-off. Admission to this game will be £3 (adults) and £2 (concessions).
It means that our home Central League clash with Shrewsbury Town has had to be moved back to Tuesday, April 23rd. This game will be played here at Banks's Stadium with a 2.00pm kick-off.
With regards to the youth team, the scheduled home clash with Oldham Athletic on Saturday, January 26th has been put back to Saturday, March 30th.
Our away games at Macclesfield Town and Rochdale in The Football League Youth Alliance Cup will take place on Saturday, February 2nd and Thursday, February 7th respectively.
