SADDLERS' boss, Dean Smith is bursting with pride after Banks's Stadium was selected to host the forthcoming England Under-21 International Friendly against Sweden."It's going to be a great occasion for the club," he said. "We've hosted International games at various levels in the past and proved that we can do it well.
"This really puts the club in the limelight; it shows that The FA have every faith in our facilities and expertise to be able to stage such a game and we are looking forward to it.
"The pitch has played really well this season and allowed us to play our passing style and this too must have been a factor in the decision of The FA to come here.
"It's a real boost for the club, the town and all of the staff here."
The match will take place on Tuesday, February 5th (kick-off 7.30pm). It will also be screened lived on ESPN.
