Boss ready for battle...

THE LADS are playing with plenty of confidence and belief at the moment.

Last weekend's victory at Doncaster Rovers was well deserved. They are a very good side who will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season but we went there and put in an excellent performance, particularly in the second half, as we avenged the defeat on the opening day of the season.

We displayed pace, power and creativity, qualities which will stand us in good stead for the battle ahead on Saturday.

Notts County have had a tough time of it recently, but Chris Kiwomya has taken over as caretaker-manager and he is a very good coach. He's got a lot if good credentials and this is the chance for him to prove himself.

We will give our opponents the respect that they deserve. We will be ready for the challenge that they will present to us. It's one of those games where we will have to be well prepared and ready to do the right things.

In every game at this level you have to be at your best to get any reward. We've won five on the spin at home now and have looked really good, but we can't afford to be complacent. Everyone has a role to play to ensure that we get the result that we all desire come the final whistle on Saturday.
