Boss hoping to sting The Bees...
OUR RECENT run of form has certainly put us in the spotlight and people are starting to take notice of us and our players.We've got a way of playing that we feel comfortable with and that we feel will hurt the opposition. It's serving us well and I have been pleased to get a number of players signed up on longer term deals in recent weeks.
It means that whilst we are not taking our eye off this season, we can also plan and build for next year. There are a lot of good players here who will continue to develop and improve and I am happy to get them signed up on longer contracts.
This weekend we head for Brentford. It will be a really difficult game for us as they have got some good players and have used the loan system well. They are one of the big-hitters at this level and are having a very solid season.
I went to watch them at Chelsea last weekend where they gave a good account of themselves. We have already played them twice at the very start of the season, so we know that it is going to be a keenly-fought and tight encounter.
It is the first of two long road trips this week, but with the confidence and belief that we have amongst the group, we are looking forward to them.
