Proud man Dean...

SADDLERS' boss, Dean Smith was a happy man after seeing his side run out worthy winners at high-flying Doncaster Rovers.

"It was a fantastic result," he said. "We made a great start and controlled the game for the opening ten or 15 minutes, passing and moving the ball well.

"They took over with their physicality for the rest of the first half, but I told the players during the interval to keep the belief and we put in one of our best performances of the season during the second period.

"It was a deserved win in the end against a side that could have gone top today. We carried the game to them and there were excellent performances all over the pitch.

"We coped well with their aerial threat and this was a great three points for us. I'm really proud of what we're doing; there are 14 games left and each one will be tough but I have every faith in my players. There's a really good atmosphere amongst the group and we go out with no fear each game and play with freedom."
