Walsall and Notts County supporters give generously...
-SATURDAY'S game against Notts County saw members of the Walsall Football Supporters Trust join forces with the family of Saddlers' defender, Dean Holden to raise vital funds for the Meningitis Trust.
We are pleased to report that there was a fantastic response from both home and away supporters with a magnificent £1,181.54 raised on the day.
Walsall FC would like to thank everyone involved for making the collection such a success. Dean and Danielle Holden would also like to pass on their sincere appreciation for all of the efforts.
An online auction will take place soon to further boost the fund-raising with some fantastic items such as a signed England Under-21 shirt, match-worn Dean Holden shirt and a training day with local boxing Champion, Martin Gethin.
