Boss looks ahead to Bees test...

SATURDAY sees us take on a team with one of the biggest budgets in this League. They have aspirations for promotion and, as such, it will be a big test for us, but one that we are really looking forward to.

We want to keep progressing all of the time and continue getting better. We've showed spells of pace and tempo so far and I want to see us be able to do it on a consistent basis.

The will-to-win and determination to improve is certainly there amongst the players; the resilience that they have displayed has impressed me greatly. We have a group of bright lads who want to learn and that will stand us in good stead.

Saturday's game will see us come up against a familiar face in Will Grigg. I am proud of the way that this club has developed Will. He had a choice to make during the summer and I hope that he goes on to enjoy a successful career in the game. Of course, at the weekend he becomes an opposition player and we will be looking to deal with the threats that he and his team-mates possess.

There will be selection headaches for me. Milan Lalkovic will be back in contention, Romaine Sawyers did well coming into the starting line-up in the last game and Andy Taylor came through 45 minutes for the reserves on Wednesday. These are the type of dilemmas that I want.

I've got a squad of 23/24 players who have proven to me already that they are well equipped to face the demands of League One.
