Wide-man taking it one game at a time...
ASHLEY Hemmings continued his fine early season form on Tuesday evening as he played a key role in our Capital One Cup victory at Port Vale.The skilful winger opened the scoring at Vale Park before being involved in our winning goal late on.
"It was a hard game," he admitted. "But we stuck together and grafted for 90 minutes. It was an impressive team performance.
"To score and get an assist, I'm buzzing off that. I've been happy with my first two performances so far; I've worked hard over the summer and will be taking things one game at a time.
"Confidence is high, but we won't get too ahead of ourselves. We'll just keep doing the right things and see where it takes us."
