Baxendale looks ahead to Preston North End clash...
WIDE-man, James Baxendale is looking forward to Saturday's home clash with Preston North End (kick-off 3.00pm).The talented 20 year-old found the net in both home and away games against the Lancashire outfit last term as we won 3-1 on each occasion.
"We're looking forward to getting back into League action," he said. "I felt that we gave a good account of ourselves at Stoke on Wednesday. The lads really enjoyed it; it was nice to go out and play on a big stage against top-flight opposition.
"We played at a good tempo and really pushed up. It was good movement which led to our goal and if we can continue in this kind of form it will stand us in good stead.
"I feel that we have started the season well and it would be nice to get back into the winning habit on Saturday. It will be a good game. Simon Grayson is a good manager and will have his team well prepared, but we will go at them and hopefully get our reward."
