Boss on victory at Boundary Park...
SADDLERS' boss, Dean Smith, saw his side win for the third time in a week as James Baxendale's goal gave us a 1-0 victory at Oldham Athletic."That's three tough games in a week, but it's another three points and a clean sheet," he said. "We weren't at our best today, but we got the result. If we keep working hard, we'll get our rewards.
"The back four were tremendous; we restricted them to only a few clear-cut chances and showed resilience and a real work ethic.
"We'll keep learning and keep progressing. We'll get nearer to where we want to be as the games go on, but that's three wins in a row, so there are plenty of positives.
"Yes, we have to be better with the ball than we were today, but it's encouraging and gives us something to build on."
