Former Saddler passes away...
WE ARE sad to report the passing of former Saddler, Tony Grealish at the age of 56.Arriving at the club in 1990, he was player-coach under Kenny Hibbitt and went on to make a total of 43 appearances in two years, whilst also helping to nurture the young talent that was starting to emerge at the time.
A Republic of Ireland International, he was a talented midfield man who skippered Brighton & Hove Albion in the 1983 FA Cup Final.
He also served the likes of Leyton Orient, Luton Town, West Bromwich Albion, Manchester City and Rotherham United.
Upon leaving Bescot Stadium, he joined Bromsgrove Rovers.
The thoughts of everyone here at Walsall FC are with his family and friends at this sad time.
