2013/14 Early Bird season-ticket campaign a real success...THE FEEL-good factor that is currently sweeping the club has extended to 2013/14 Early Bird season-ticket sales as figures were the highest for six years.
The campaign, which ran throughout the month of March and ended following our game against Sheffield United at the weekend, has really captured the imagination with great savings and fantastic incentives.
“This year’s Early Bird campaign has been a phenomenal success,” said Saddlers’ Chief Executive, Stefan Gamble without hesitation. “With sales in excess of 2,000, this represents an increase of over 25% on the previous year and a six-year high.
“The club is indebted to those supporters who have parted with their hard-earned cash in an increasingly difficult economic climate. This demonstrates that there is great belief in the direction in which the club is moving and in the football philosophy that Dean Smith and his team are attempting to implement.
“The Early Bird promotion always sets the tone for the coming season and this year’s result gives us a tremendous platform on which we can build.
“There has been an increase in sales in every category of ticket and, as we strive to attract the Next Generation of supporters to the Banks’s Stadium, the number of juniors taking advantage of our offer of ‘free football for all under-18s’ has once again proven to be popular with another significant increase year-on-year.
“There is a good buzz around the place at the moment and long may it continue.”
