Paterson on brace against Sky Blues...

IT WAS mixed emotions for lifelong Coventry City supporter, Jamie Paterson as his two goals helped us storm to a 4-0 victory over the Sky Blues on Bank Holiday Monday.

"Yes, you could say there were some mixed emotions, but I was just delighted to get on the scoresheet and help us win," he said. "It was a great three points in the end and thoroughly deserved.

"The win gives us a lot of confidence and makes up for the defeat at their place earlier in the season. To be fair, we've not dwelt too much on that and have been on a great result since then.

"Our momentum has been building. That's 12 games unbeaten now and all we can do is keep winning and see where it takes us.

"Every game will be tough but we won't be taking anyone lightly. We'll give it a final push. We've always felt that we have a good team here; we know the qualities that we have, it's just about being consistent and we've got that now."
