Holden overwhelmed by Saturday evening event in The Saddlers Club for Meningitis Trust...
THERE'S an End of Season Party taking place in The Saddlers Club on Saturday evening, which has been organised by the Walsall Football Supporters Trust as part of their fund-raising for the Meningitis Trust on behalf of Dean and Danielle Holden.It promises to be a great night of entertainment with live music from Charlie and The Martyrs and Lowfield as The Saddlers’ family come together to celebrate the season and also raise money for an extremely worthwhile cause.
There will be various raffles and auctions taking place throughout the evening with some fantastic memorabilia up for grabs.
It will be possible to pay on the door at £5 (adults) and £3 (under-16s). Food will be available to purchase on the night and the event runs from 7.00pm until 11.00pm.
"The Supporters Trust have worked so hard to organise this event," said Holden. "They have been brilliant with me and my family and it will be nice for us to say thank you and meet some of the fans on Saturday night.
"To say that I've only been at the club since the summer, the backing that I've received from the supporters has been fantastic and all of the fund-raising for the Meningitis Trust has been out of this world. It means so much to me and my family.
"Hopefully all the effort to put the evening together will be rewarded with a good turn-out."
