Smith reacts to the action...

SADDLERS' boss, Dean Smith, has reflected upon our 1-1 home draw with Sheffield United.

"We deserved to win on chances," he said. "We're disappointed because I felt that we created enough opportunities to have been clear of them.

"But unfortunately they were able to get back into it and we had to weather something of a storm for 20 minutes or so.

"On another day Febian would have scored two or three, but it wasn't to be on this occasion. Still, it's another point to our total and 13 games unbeaten now, which is no mean feat in this League.

"We can certainly take heart from the way that we have played against one of biggest teams in this League.

"It's a case of keep doing what we're doing and see where it takes us.

"It was good to see another big crowd, which made for a good atmosphere on our 125th Anniversary. It's just disappointing that we couldn't give the fans a victory to round the day off."
