Bowerman bags again...
LIVELY front-man, George Bowerman bagged his third goal of the season on Tuesday evening but it wasn’t enough to overcome Stevenage who inflicted our first League defeat since the opening day of the season.
“We knew it would be tough,” he admitted. “When we got the equaliser we felt that we would go on to get at least a point out of the game, but it wasn’t to be.
“There are things that we did well and other things that we’ll analyse over the next few days, but we’ll be ready to go again on Saturday.
“We’ve got a young squad here and it was good experience to come up against physical opposition and hopefully we’ll learn from it.
“The game has gone now and we move on to the next one.”
