TEAM TALK v SHREWSBURY TOWN, 14/10/2012

Boss looking forward to Shrews clash...

HAVING sold out of our full allocation of tickets, we know that we're going to have a large following at Sunday's game to help create a good atmosphere.

It's good for both clubs and the League that it is being screened live on Sky. It's nice to have the recognition and hopefully we can continue what we have been doing so far this season.

We want to continue putting the building blocks in place and build upon the foundations that have been laid over the past few years. I can certainly see the signs of a positive future here; we have a plan in place as to where we want to go and how to get there.

We've got a young, energetic team who want to play and improve. We'll keep sticking to our guns; we've beaten numerous clubs with far bigger budgets so far this season, which bodes well.

Of course we set out to win every game. We are realistic to know that we're not going to win every week, but we are putting smiles on our supporters' faces by going about things the right way.

We want to make our fans proud and give them something to cheer about and hopefully we'll emerge from Sunday's game with the result that we all desire.

I am looking forward to pitting my wits against Graham Turner. He has so much experience and know-how and I have nothing but respect for him and what he has achieved in the game. He was my manager at Hereford United, where he also worked alongside Richard O'Kelly.

This will be our first visit to the Greenhous Meadow so we are looking forward to it.
